KaitoAI's leaderboard recently introduced a new rule, and I heard they're setting thresholds for all rankings. Honestly, I think this approach makes sense—after all, it's important to distinguish those who truly contribute.

How are the new rules divided? It's a simple two-choice system:

The first way is based on reputation. What is reputation? Basically, it's about consistently providing valuable content. I understand this; those who can reliably produce value should indeed have a say.

The second way is directly on-chain. Does the wallet hold real assets? Has there been actual interaction with projects? All of this is recorded on the blockchain and cannot be changed. From a certain perspective, this is more honest.

But here's the problem—will this approach block a large number of people? Newcomers, those without content accumulation, or those still observing—suddenly, they have no chance to make the list. Is this progress or does it turn into an elite circle? I'm a bit unsure. The product logic becomes more rigorous, but will community inclusiveness actually decrease?

Basically, it's just another new trick to scam retail investors.

On-chain data doesn't lie, but this definitely tends to turn into a rich people's club.

Once again implementing a threshold system, this has completely turned into a playground for big players.

This rule is quite interesting. On-chain data indeed can't be changed, but this really kills new users.

Still trying to hit the threshold? What about newcomers' opportunities? This is just nurturing a trap.

On-chain data may lie, but wallets won't deceive you.

Ha, this is a classic example of the builder's dilemma. On-chain data honesty is no doubt important, but if they do this to trap new retail investors, isn't that just pushing them out? I want to see how they set this threshold—if it's too low, it's meaningless; if it's too high, it becomes an elite club. Instead of obsessing over inclusivity, it's better to ask how much this ranking actually impacts on-chain yields—that's the real core.
