This is not BTG, the creators simply decided to take the name from a dying cryptocurrency, thereby confusing people. The real BTG is worth about $0.5, while the new BTG is around $10 - you might unknowingly buy it for $0.5 with the intention of selling on the gate.io exchange, but when you try to deposit, you'll realize you've been fooled because deposits are only accepted in the BSC network, and the real BTG has its own network and has never been on BSC.
