I finally decided to set up my first real hedge on Reya, and it was specifically designed to protect an existing ETH spot position.

Honestly, perpetual futures always struck me as a pure risk multiplier. But this time I flipped the script completely.

Instead of the typical leverage play, I went the opposite direction. I posted srUSD as collateral, deliberately kept the leverage conservative, and made sure my liquidation range was wide enough that I could actually sleep at night.

The whole point was risk management—using perps not to chase gains, but to create a genuine safety net for what I already hold.
