Expert Makes a Bold Solana (SOL) Price Prediction as 2025 Nears Its End
Source: X/@CryptoPatel
At the moment, the SOL price is trading just above $120, which lines up with a former support zone that previously acted as a floor during consolidation phases. Multiple reactions around this level show it has been defended in the past, but the current structure suggests that buyers are losing control. When a widely watched support gets tested repeatedly from above, the probability of a breakdown increases. Below $120, the chart opens into thinner liquidity. The next major technical area sits near the $75 region, which aligns closely with the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement marked on Patel’s chart around $74.46. This zone also overlaps with an older demand area from earlier cycles, making it a realistic downside target if selling pressure continues. Intermediate psychological levels such as $100 could slow the move, but they do not carry the same structural weight as the $75 region. From a resistance perspective, any recovery attempts would first need to reclaim $150, followed by the broader $175–$235 range that acted as a major distribution area earlier in 2025. Until those levels are taken back on higher timeframes, the broader trend remains fragile. Patel’s $500 target is framed as a long-term outcome rather than an immediate projection. For Solana to reach that level, the market would need a full trend reset, stronger risk appetite across crypto, and sustained adoption-driven demand. In that context, a deeper retracement toward $75 could serve as a reset point, clearing leverage and setting the stage for a healthier base. The idea that SOL could fall further before eventually pushing much higher fits with how previous cycles have unfolded. Sharp drawdowns often precede strong expansions, especially when they occur into well-defined technical zones. Whether that scenario plays out depends heavily on how price behaves around $120 in the coming weeks. For now, Patel’s view reflects what the chart is already hinting at: downside risk remains if support fails, while the bullish case likely requires patience and a longer time horizon.
