Why are so many people losing money in the crypto market? Instead of saying the market is unpredictable, it's more accurate to say they are digging their own graves.
**Lack of a clear trading system**. Wandering through various analyst recommendations, trading based on short-term signals, chasing rallies and selling on dips, resulting in frequent stop-losses. Or conversely, trusting nothing, mixing ideas from ten different teachers to trade on their own; when right, they lack confidence to hold cash, and when wrong, they bet everything—this is the classic "see the right move but lack the courage to act, see the wrong move and go all in."
**Guidance is useless**. Following teachers often leads to heavy positions and all-in bets, repeatedly standing on the opposite side of the market. Many get stuck here—understanding the principles but executing in the opposite way.
**No concept of take-profit and stop-loss**. Taking small profits and running, locking in losses at minor dips, and finally cutting at the extreme points. Even worse, knowing the trend has reversed but still holding onto the hope of "at least breaking even," getting deeper into the boiling frog scenario.
**Market feeling becomes numb**. Doing well during sideways movements, but after a big position chase, they become timid. Then they mistake sideways for a trend and vice versa, with psychological shadows causing indecisiveness.
**Always missing the entry point**. Correct direction but unable to enter the market; once in, a pullback knocks them out. When the opportunity looks good, they just can't make a profit. Conversely, after being caught, they hope for a rebound to break even, only for the trend to turn and hit the lowest point.
The root cause of these issues all points to one word: lack of discipline and risk management awareness. The crypto market is like an amplifier, magnifying all your trading bad habits tenfold.
