Recently, CLO experienced a sudden surge, with a 4.1% increase, which looks quite impressive. But after a closer look at the news, there are actually quite a few issues.
In the past 12 hours, mainstream social media (X, Telegram) and major news sources haven't shown any real positive signals. Instead, some early bullish posts can be found, mentioning a 25% increase and other optimistic views, but those were over ten hours ago. The hype has cooled down, and there’s no new discussion or momentum in the community.
Overall, market sentiment is quite冷淡, with positive voices making up only about 20%. There’s basically no sign of FOMO or institutional funds entering. This kind of rise seems to be driven by retail investor emotions and lacks sustainability.
To put it simply, this wave of market movement is very likely to become a FOMO trap. Without fundamental support or new news driving it, such a rally is often just a prelude, and a correction is quite possible. Instead of blindly chasing and buying in, it’s better to wait and see, and find a better shorting opportunity to be more secure.
