People often lump memecoins together with NFTs from last cycle, but that comparison doesn't really hold up.

Here's the thing: NFTs as a speculative asset had a moment—a pretty brief one at that. You could make a solid case they were a temporary fad that peaked and cooled down.

Memecoins? Completely different story. They've proven staying power across multiple market cycles. They're not a one-off phenomenon. The asset class has evolved, adapted, and maintained relevance through different market conditions.

The fundamentals are just not comparable. One burned bright and faded fast; the other has shown resilience and cyclical returns. Big difference.

But I see that many meme coins die very quickly. How are they still resilient?

NFTs back then were really just tools for cutting leeks; memecoins are different, this thing has been around for a very long time.

That's right, the NFT wave was indeed just a flash in the pan. Memecoin has lasted until now thanks to community vitality, but it's not even in the same league.

That bunch of NFTs really should be dead and gone; memes are the real proposition.
