There's nothing wrong with that, but it's easy to say and hard to do. I've seen too many people who say they hold long-term, but when there's a dip, they run away.

That's right. Over the past few years, I've seen a bunch of people around me chase gains and sell in panic, losing their principal. Conversely, those who quietly DCA (Dollar Cost Averaged) have been the most comfortable, really.
