Don't remind me again today

#加密市场回调 "That day when BTC skyrocketed to 85k, I saw my panicked self from years ago."

Last night during the US session, BTC directly broke through 85k.
The comment section exploded:
"Game over"
"Main players are dumping madly"
"This market is hopeless"

Seeing these reactions, my mind suddenly flashed back to a few years ago—
Back then, I was the same, always blaming every dip.
Then I would curse and panic-sell at the same time,
Clearing all positions only to watch the price slowly rebound,
Sitting in front of the computer, almost smashing the keyboard.

What truly woke me up wasn’t a sudden surge,
But the blood and tears lessons learned through repeated market education:
Not understanding stop-loss, lacking risk management, unable to endure volatility,
Eventually getting wiped out by the market.

Afterward, I forced myself to establish a few ironclad rules:
- Stop loss immediately if a single trade loses more than 2%
- Never go all-in on a single trade
- Don’t chase highs or listen to rumors
- Stay away from indecipherable charts

It was these boring rules that made me want to fall asleep,
That helped me crawl my account out of the pit bit by bit.
What saved me wasn’t a market reversal,
But finally learning how to save myself.

If yesterday’s pullback caused your mindset to collapse,
Maybe it’s time to stop and think—
What you need isn’t the next big surge,
But a trading system that can keep you alive. $BTC

To be honest, I have read too many articles like this, each time it's the same "I have realized" routine. But indeed... that 2% stop loss is really useful. I used to be a master at close all positions, but now at least I'm still alive.

ngl the mempool's gonna separate the survivors from the liquidation bait rn... discipline > alpha every time, that's the real edge nobody wants to hear

That's right, stop-loss really saves lives. I only realized this after my account hit rock bottom before. But 2% is too strict, I usually act at 5%, after all, the fluctuations are so large...

ngl the 2% stop-loss thing sounds boring af but statistically speaking... that's literally what separates the survivors from the liquidation notices. reminds me of UST in May when everyone was screaming and I was just sitting there watching the correlation coefficient get demolished. the real flex isn't catching the bottom, it's just not being there when it implodes, you know?

Awareness is easy to talk about, but when it comes to actually doing it, your legs are trembling.
