The renowned encryption data platform DappRadar has announced its shutdown due to financial difficulties, and the future plans for the RADAR Token are yet to be determined.

On November 17, the well-known crypto data website DappRadar posted on social media “After seven years, it’s time to say goodbye,” announcing that the platform will shut down: "We have made the difficult decision to close the DappRadar platform. It has become financially unsustainable to operate a project of this scale in the current environment. After exhausting all possibilities, we had to make this hard choice. When we started in 2018, this field was still in its infancy. There were few early decentralized applications, and explorers were few and far between, with many questions about the future of decentralized applications still unanswered. Inspired by Cryptokitties, we created DappRadar to help people explore and understand this new world. We have collectively navigated through bull and bear cycles. We are proud to have helped millions of users discover decentralized applications, conduct research, and continue learning through our content. We have established collaborations with hundreds of blockchains, thousands of developers, and projects. Our data has been cited by journalists, appeared in research papers, and has been disseminated globally in various languages. The blockchain field often appears chaotic, and our mission has been to make it more understandable and trustworthy. As we turn away, we are confident that we have stayed on the right path, adhered to our principles, and injected positive energy into the industry. We will soon begin the process of winding down the platform, including ceasing to track blockchain and decentralized application data and gradually shutting down related services. Regarding the DAO and RADAR token matters, further announcements will be made through regular DAO channels. There are still important decisions pending, and we look forward to community participation in discussions. The mission to help people explore and understand decentralized applications should not stop here. The Web3 field still requires exploratory beacons, and we hope someone can take the torch and continue forward.
