To be honest, I haven't looked at Near for a long time, but there has been a lot of discussion about Near Intents recently. I took a brief look, and logically it is a multi-chain trading protocol that involves concepts like intentions and AI Agents. Unlike the previous AI Agents platforms that executed transactions on primitives or a simple DEX, Near Intents will be more of a foundational infrastructure, already integrated with SwapKit, Zashi, and Kyberswap.
Since November, the daily trading volume of Near Intents has remained above 100 million USD, which has also brought in hundreds of thousands of USD in fees daily. However, this fee is not income. The fee mechanism of Near Intents is quite interesting: first, 0.0001% of each transaction is considered protocol revenue; transactions on the official channel Near-Intents charge 0.2% per transaction; other third-party channels can set their own fees.
Since May, Near Intents has accumulated fees of over 5.5 million dollars, of which more than 4.4 million dollars were generated through the channel partner SwapKit, indicating a high degree of single-point reliance; Zashi generated 760,000 dollars in fees; the official channel Near-Intents generated 320,000 dollars in fees, which can be fully considered as Near's revenue.
In terms of trading assets, apart from stablecoins, ZEC is the third largest token by trading volume recently. Similar to the purpose of wrapping ZEC for on-chain trading with Solana, the popularity of privacy coins helps to boost the activity of the chain and the products. For example, Zcash's Zashi Wallet integrates NEAR Intents, supporting private swaps, allowing users to trade across chains while maintaining privacy.
