Slow Fog Cosine: North Korean Hacker malware SilentSiphon can steal data from applications such as Apple Notes, TG, OpenAI, etc.

Wu stated that Slow Mist's Yu Xian published an article indicating that the North Korea-related hacker organization BlueNoroff is simultaneously running two attack operations, “GhostCall” and “GhostHire”. GhostCall delivers malware through fake updates for meeting software such as Zoom and Teams, while GhostHire disguises itself as Web3 recruitment information, luring developers on Telegram to download toxic test files from GitHub. Yu Xian pointed out that the related Trojan SilentSiphon can steal data from Apple Notes, Telegram, and browser extensions, and obtain access credentials and configuration files for various services including GitHub, AWS, Google Cloud, Solana, Aptos, Sui, and OpenAI.
