Gate's venture capital arm, Gate Ventures, has announced the completion of its strategic acquisition of the decentralized crypto assets perpetual futures trading exchange (Perp DEX) "ADEN". According to CoinMarketCap data, the platform ranks 3rd among decentralized perpetual futures trading exchanges globally, with a monthly trading volume exceeding 20 billion USD and a total user base of over 200,000 worldwide.
This acquisition is one of Gate's important strategic initiatives to expand the decentralized derivatives market, marking a further implementation of its "All in Web3" strategy. After the integration is completed, ADEN will migrate to Gate's independently developed high-performance Layer 2 network, Gate Layer, and is expected to officially launch on November 3rd, fully leveraging its scalability and security advantages to enhance user trading efficiency and service levels.
