[Chain News] PANews reports that Filecoin has successfully completed its first round of public goods funding (ProPGF), allocating a total of $3.6818 million to 14 teams for infrastructure development, tool creation, and key services to promote the development of next-generation Filecoin applications. The funded teams include Curio Dashboard, Fil Note, Filecoin Developer Tooling (FIL-B), Filecoin EconoLens MCP Server, Game Theoretic Programmable Fil+ Allocator, Titan Network (SP Bandwidth), IPNI, FIL Ponto, Chainfee, CIDgravity Gateway, Curio Storage, EverMedia Vault, Lynx, and Filecoin Retrieval Checkers (FilCDN) as FWS Services.

This funding covers multiple areas from high-performance data retrieval to programmable transaction allocation, with initial funds to be disbursed starting this week. The second batch of funding is expected to launch in October 2025, and teams that were not selected can participate in the fall application or explore other funding avenues.
