On August 8, 2025, Hongqiao Group (08137.HK), a listed company on the Hong Kong stock exchange, announced that it has signed a non-binding strategic cooperation memorandum with Dongfang Yilin, a digital operation provider for forest assets. The two parties will jointly build an integrated ecosystem of "Forestry + Finance + Blockchain" to promote the application of real-world assets (RWA) in the forestry sector.
This move marks the official entry of Hongqiao Group into the new track of RWA.
