#Altcoin Season Update# Ripple ( XRP ) has seen unprecedented activity in recent months! Here are the data.
In recent days, as the price of XRP has risen, there has been the highest transfer activity on the network in a long time.
Onchain payment activity on the XRP network has seen a noticeable increase in recent months.
According to the data from the on-chain data platform XRPSCAN dated July 18, the total volume of transfers between accounts on the XRP Ledger has exceeded 1.4 billion dollars, reaching the highest level since February 2025.
On a day when a total of 1,488,878,886 XRP changed hands, the previous day's trading volume was 1.2 billion dollars. The daily number of payments on the XRP Ledger also steadily increased, reaching approximately 1.4 million transactions.
This rise shows that users' interest in XRP has increased. The increase in XRP's on-chain activity also coincides with the overall upward trend in the cryptocurrency market. The price of XRP is approaching the historical peak of $3.84 reached in 2018.
On the other hand, 26 million dollars worth of XRP was sent from a crypto wallet belonging to Chris Larsen, one of the co-founders of Ripple, to an exchange on Tuesday. This transfer occurred on the same day that the price of XRP reached its highest level in the last seven months.
Although it is still unclear whether Larsen has sold these XRP, it is often seen that such large transfers to centralized exchanges are intended for selling purposes.
