US President Donald Trump continues to inspire other countries. In this regard, the latest country is Pakistan.
Accordingly, during the Bitcoin 2025 Conference held in Las Vegas from May 27 to 29, Pakistan announced that it will establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve.
The cryptocurrency advisor of the Pakistani Prime Minister who spoke at the conference, Bilal Bin Saqib, announced that the Pakistani government will establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve.
At the same time, Bilal Bin Saqib, the CEO of the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC), stated that Pakistan's Bitcoin decision was inspired by the United States' move to create its own Bitcoin reserves.
This decision represents a significant change from the previous stance of the Pakistani government, which stated that it would never legalize Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Previously, Pakistan had argued in its earlier statements that cryptocurrencies would never be legal in the country.

The Pakistani government established a "National Crypto Council" for the first time in February 2025. This council was created to oversee the development of a comprehensive regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies and to attract foreign investment.

Just three days after CZ's appointment, Bilal Bin Saqib, the advisor to the Minister of Finance of Pakistan, announced that he plans to allocate a portion of the country's excess electricity to Bitcoin mining and AI data centers.
