Data Breakthrough | TRC20-USDT issuance surpasses 65.7 billion coins, setting a new historical high

On March 29, the blockchain explorer TRONSCAN data shows that the issuance of TRC 20-USDT has surpassed 65.7 billion coins, setting a new historical high, accounting for 45.5% of the total issuance of USDT across the network. Since 2025, TRC 20-USDT has cumulatively increased by 6 billion coins, demonstrating strong market demand and further consolidating TRON's dominant position in the stablecoin sector.

TRC 20-USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar issued by Tether on the TRON network. Since its launch in April 2019, it has been widely welcomed by crypto users. As of now, the number of accounts holding TRC 20-USDT exceeds 63.29 million, with a total of 2.4 billion transfers, playing an important role in value circulation globally.

As an excellent use case for the large-scale popularization of Blockchain and its benefits to real life, TRC 20-USDT has become the stablecoin of choice for billions of users.
