Armed Home Invasion Targets Amouranth for Crypto Holdings
YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — Four suspects have been charged in connection with the home invasion of online streamer Kaitlyn Siragusa, also known as Amouranth. The attackers reportedly entered her home, assaulted her, and held her at gunpoint, demanding access to her cryptocurrency.
The incident took place on March 2, 2025, in Houston, Texas’s Spring Branch area. Armed men broke into Siragusa’s residence, using a gun to break a window and forcing entry through a door. They physically attacked her and demanded that she hand over private keys to her crypto wallet.
Authorities identified the suspects as Dylan Nesho Campbell and Bryan Anthony Salazar Guerrero, along with two minors, aged 16 and 17. According to Fox 26, Campbell and Guerrero, as well as the 17-year-old, were charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
She had previously revealed online that she held 211 Bitcoin, worth over $20 million in November 2024.

During the robbery, Siragusa’s husband was on speakerphone. The suspects grabbed the phone and attempted to use it to access a crypto app.
Realizing the situation, her husband armed himself with a handgun and monitored the break-in using the home security cameras. Meanwhile, Siragusa led the attackers around the house, stalling them as they searched for a cold storage device.
She managed to escape and ran upstairs, where her husband was waiting. He fired three shots at the intruders, possibly hitting one. The armed suspects then fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Posts appeared on Siragusa’s account while the home invasion was still in progress. Her husband later stated that he was the one posting updates as the attack unfolded.
Law enforcement is investigating how the suspects knew about Siragusa’s crypto holdings and whether her online activity made her a target.
Increase in Crypto-Related Kidnappings and Robberies
This incident is part of a growing pattern of crypto-related crimes.
In January 2025, a UK court sentenced seven individuals for the kidnapping and extortion of a crypto investor. The victim was repeatedly assaulted and forced to transfer funds.
That same month, Ledger co-founder David Balland was kidnapped in France and held for crypto ransom before being rescued by law enforcement.
Authorities have warned that crypto investors are becoming high-value targets, with criminals seeking access to crypto wallets through force.
