In a bold statement, cryptocurrency analyst Fred Krueger shared his perspective on the future of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and the (SOL) of Solana, praising Bitcoin's role as a store of value and Solana's growing dominance, while providing a sharp critique of Ethereum.

Krueger argued that Bitcoin's original vision as a cryptocurrency for "peer-to-peer payment" failed because few people used it for transactions. Instead, he said that BTC has firmly established itself as a hedge against economic uncertainty and a long-term store of value:

"Bitcoin started as a 'peer-to-peer' cryptocurrency. However, this vision failed. Very few people use it in this way. People use it to protect their savings. Bitcoin has managed to win this positioning segment in the human mind."

Krueger remains optimistic about Bitcoin's long-term potential and predicts that institutional investment will push Bitcoin's price to unprecedented levels:

"A hundred trillion will flow into ETFs, corporate treasuries and MSTR. It's going to take time, but BTC will reach $1 million and then $10 million."

Krueger was highly critical of Ethereum's evolution, claiming that its original concept as a "world computer" was flawed from the start. He considered Ethereum's (PoS) transition to Proof-of-Stake and its emphasis on Layer 2 solutions to be ineffective.

Predicting that Ethereum is on a downward trajectory, he suggested that it would become obsolete:

"ETH is heading to the graveyard. May he rest in peace."

In contrast, Krueger praised Solana as a highly functional blockchain with real-world usability. He believes that if it doesn't run into scalability issues, Solana will surpass Ethereum in terms of adoption and usage:

"Some of the others can actually be used. Solana leads this group. I don't see any reason why it should fail unless it hits a major performance wall. For now, it has all the users and objectively does its job perfectly."

He went even further, declaring that Solana would overtake Ethereum this year: "Solana is going to kill ETH. This year."

Krueger also touched on the Bitcoin maximalist mindset, suggesting that many staunch BTC supporters underestimate Solana due to its strong anti-altcoin stance.
