Bucket Protocol is one of the top 10 TVL protocols on Sui, with a total lock-up value of $80 million, and is also the largest stablecoin protocol on Sui, with a native stablecoin BUCK pegged to the value of the US dollar. Bucket Protocol has announced that it will conduct a TGE and conduct an IDO public sale on January 13th. What is the Bucket tokenomics, and is the public sale worth attending? Tokenomics

Basic Information

Token Name: BUT, with a total amount of 1 billion. BUT will be able to be staked as deBUT, obtain protocol governance rights, and participate in BUT emissions. The penalty for early exit from staking will also be redistributed to deBUT holders

Token allocation

(15%) of the team is allocated to the bucket core team, locked for 6 months and released linearly over 15 months.

Partners (2%) reserved for key partners in the form of deBUT with a one-year lock-up period to strengthen strategic partnerships with governance rights.

Advisors (2%) are allocated to advisors in the form of deBUT with a one-year lock-up period.

Ecosystem (33%) Incentivizes ecosystem development, activities, and community engagement. Released weekly for 6 years.

The presale (15%) is allocated to early participants to support and early access to BUT with a one-year staking period (in the form of deBUT).

Airdrop (10%) recognises and incentivizes early supporters and encourages wider adoption.

Marketing (5%) Support expansion and growth initiatives.

The reserve fund (10%) is used for operational needs, future development and strategic initiatives to ensure the sustainability of the project.

Liquidity (8%) fully released at TGE.

The bucket's leaderboard will run until January 11. The Airdrop Farm event runs until January 13 and is the last chance to get on the bike.

Public sale details:

Public Sale Round 1 (BUT Whitelist Sale): Open to ecosystem partners, contributors, and the bucket community at a $5 million valuation. Tokens will be staked for one year, with no option to withdraw early. A two-hour pre-sale window. Currently, the average user is whitelisted by becoming in the top 100 of the leaderboard.

Public Sale Round 2 (BUT Public Sale): The remaining allocations from the first round will be offered to the wider community at a valuation of $5 million. Tokens will be staked for one year, with no option to withdraw early.

Farm Activities

Bucket has also opened a dedicated airdrop mining event, with a TVL of $23 million since its launch on December 19, and it's not too late to participate until January 13.

In the Airdrop Farm event, in addition to depositing Sui ecological tokens such as SUI, haSUI, vSUI, BLUE, SEND, etc., you can also directly deposit stablecoins such as USDC and wUSDC for airdrop mining to get Drops, which will be exchanged for BUT tokens after TGE.
