According to official sources, Taiko, an ETH Layer2 network, announced the launch of a governance model Taiko DAO built in collaboration with the Aragon Project. The core of this DAO is a governance structure with a secure council of external representatives. Multi-signature ensures that while maintaining the security measures brought by community-driven decisions, the flexibility of operations is maintained. In addition, Taiko DAO introduces an optimistic governance mechanism, where proposals will enter a veto period for community review. Both token holders and representatives can participate in the voting process. Proposals that do not meet the veto threshold at the end of the veto period will be executed after a latency of 7 days.
