New Ideas for AI Agents (Part 2)
Source: DaoShuo Blockchain
In yesterday's article, I mainly quoted an idea from the reference article:
NFT project parties can consider issuing their own AI agents.
In fact, there have already been NFT projects with such cases.
However, in this case, the AI agent was not initiated by the project party, but by enthusiasts in the community. mfer is an NFT that was popular on the foreign internet. A fan of this NFT community, @HeresMyEth, initiated an AI agent called @mferGPT to focus on mfer.
However, the current impact of this project is not significant, and I have not seen any big-name NFT project party personally participate in such operation.
In fact, there is no need to limit such operations to NFT projects or AI agents. It can also be applied to all activities related to AI agents, such as building platforms similar to Virtuals.
I saw such a case over the weekend.
When it comes to zkSync, its airdrop once left countless airdrop hunters with painful memories. After the token airdrop, it seems that I have never heard the community discuss this once highly anticipated Ethereum layer 2 scaling solution again, nor have I heard anyone discuss the projects on this layer 2 scaling solution.
But when I was wandering around on the weekend, I suddenly found that this second-layer extension has now transformed to imitate the gameplay of Virtuals. This DEX is Holdstation.
I have interacted on this DEX before, purely for the purpose of farming. The only impression it left on me is that it supports Pay Master, allowing users to choose to pay gas fees with its token (Hold). This made my experience much smoother.
Apart from that, I don't see any highlights of this DEX.
If it weren't for browsing around on the weekend and seeing its news, I wouldn't even remember this DEX.
Besides continuing to maintain the DEX business, it has now transformed into an AI agent financing platform like Virtuals, and seems to have received support from the ecosystem.
Its gameplay completely mimics Virtuals, allowing supported AI agents to issue coins, and users must buy such AI proxy tokens through its platform coin Hold.
At present, AI agents have been issued on this DEX, but these agents do not have many bright spots at the moment, and not many people seem to know about them. Only the project team itself spares no effort to promote and promote it on Twitter.
Regardless of whether this new method works or not, the fact that the project party is taking such swift action has already indicated that they are treating this approach as a 'life-saving straw'.
This sign makes me more convinced that the gameplay of Virtuals will quickly expand to other ecosystems and be used by more half-dead project parties to "borrow a corpse to bring a soul back to life".
If you combine this gameplay with the countless second-tier expansions now, there will be even more possibilities for imagination.
Doesn't Uniswap have its own Unichain?
There is a dedicated article on Messari analyzing whether Unichain is a general-purpose chain or a DeFi-specific chain.
Now it seems that there is no need to argue. If Uniswap also adopts the method of Virtuals, specifically supports AI agents dedicated to DeFi on Unichain (such as transaction agents, payment agents, etc.), and uses its own UNI tokens as the exchange medium for these AI agent tokens, then it can develop its own DeFi AI agent ecosystem on its own chain.
And this is also a legitimate, non-regulatory violation, a good way to empower tokens, safe and effective.
Is Boring Ape and Magic not having their own dedicated game (Layer 2 expansion) chains ApeChain and Treasure?
They can also adopt the Virtuals' gameplay to build game-oriented AI agents in their own ecosystem, and empower their tokens strongly. In this way, they can also establish their own game-oriented AI agent ecosystem and help their token price.
If this approach can be implemented, I estimate that what will erupt next will not only be AI agents, but also the simultaneous eruption of second-layer scaling. Any project with strong capabilities and a strong ecosystem will consider building its own second-layer scaling and then building its own AI agent ecosystem on top of it.
The imagination space will be very large.
