FIL Foundation and other industry participants establish the Decentralization AI Association

Odaily Planet Daily News encryption industry participants have established a non-profit organization called the "Decentralized AI Society (DAIS)" dedicated to addressing the potential for monopolization in the artificial intelligence (AI) industry. The group is led by Michael Casey, who was formerly the Chief Content Officer at CoinDesk and also the Chairman of Consensus. The 8 founding members of DAIS include CETI AI, FIL Foundation, Bloq, Hypercycle, Morpheus, Hemi, Odyssey, and Lumerin. During an interview at the Token2049 blockchain conference held in Singapore on Tuesday, Casey stated, "DAIS believes that centralized platforms in the age of artificial intelligence have a huge competitive advantage. They have all the data and computing power, and even regulatory agencies." DAIS aims to address four issues:

  1. Bringing capital to the world of Decentralization AI has become an arms race for resources such as GPUs and data centers;
  2. Formulate policies to develop regulations on artificial intelligence; 3, Decentralization artificial intelligence education and promotion;
  3. Create a new Algorithm for the learning model in a distributed manner. (CoinDesk)
