Trump White House遭槍擊!槍手是某款獨立遊戲開發者,Steam上湧入大量嘲諷言論
Trump encounters gunfire again, suspect Cole Tomas Allen is the developer of the indie game “Bohrdom”. After the incident was exposed, a large number of players flooded the Steam page with sarcastic comments. Currently, the game is suspected to have been taken down by the authorities, and Allen faces multiple federal charges.
Trump involved in another shooting incident, suspect’s background revealed
Last Saturday evening, during a White House press dinner held at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, a shocking shooting occurred**,** the suspect is 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen**,** who was subdued on the spot after opening fire at the security checkpoint.**
U.S. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that U.S. President Donald Trump and his officials are highly likely to be targets.
Following the incident, many media outlets began digging into Allen’s background. Allen is from California, holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Caltech, and obtained a master’s degree in computer science from California State University in 2025.
Information on LinkedIn shows that Allen has long worked as a part-time instructor at educational institutions, was selected as an outstanding teacher for a month in 2024, and claims to be an independent game developer.
Suspect’s other identity: Developer of indie game “Bohrdom”
Allen indeed released an indie game called “Bohrdom” on Steam**,** priced at only $2, and it was launched as early as 2018**,** a skill-based asymmetrical fighting game based on chemical models, combining bullet hell and racing elements. He single-handedly handled the game’s code and physics engine.
However, the game hardly gained any attention after its release. SteamDB data shows that the highest concurrent online players before the shooting incident was only two**,** and Allen also mentioned he was developing a space combat game tentatively titled “First Law”.

Players flood Steam with sarcastic comments
After the shooting incident was exposed, there was a large influx of players leaving comments on “Bohrdom”'s Steam page.
The game’s peak concurrent online players rose to 22 last Sunday. Steam players even jokingly added tags like “Shooting” and “Assassination” to the game, but the game itself does not contain these elements.

Many players purchased the game just to leave comments, but most played less than 2 hours, below the refund threshold.
The comment section was filled with sarcastic remarks, with some players saying the money spent on the game would turn into bullets fired at the White House**.** Others commented that the shooting game seemed rushed, sarcastically suggesting the developer’s next project would have to wait until after a 25-year prison sentence**.** Additional comments mocked the game as a complete failure as a shooter, criticizing the interface for errors and using it to satirize the failed shooting incident.

Game appears to have been discontinued, suspect faces federal charges
However, the “Crypto City” editor checked the game page and found that “Bohrdom” has currently been removed from Steam, with the purchase and download options disabled, seemingly shut down by the authorities." IGN, a gaming media outlet, has reached out to Steam for comment but has not received a response.
After Allen’s arrest, Washington federal prosecutor Jeanine Pirro stated that he faces two charges: using a firearm during a violent crime and assaulting federal officers with a dangerous weapon.
On Monday, U.S. time, Allen will appear in federal court for formal arraignment. U.S. law enforcement confirmed to AP that Allen was carrying legally purchased semi-automatic pistols and shotguns at the time of the incident, and authorities are continuing to investigate his motives.
