Trump: Good news on negotiations with Iran could come as early as Friday
Golden Finance reports that on April 22nd, according to the New York Post, U.S. President Trump and Pakistani officials revealed on Wednesday that good news regarding the second round of negotiations between the United States and Iran could come as early as Friday. Pakistani sources stated that active mediation efforts with Iran have renewed the possibility of holding more peace talks within the next 36 to 72 hours. When asked about this potential breakthrough, Trump replied via text message, “Possible!.” Previously, Trump stated he would extend the ceasefire agreement until the Iranian leadership could propose a “unified plan.” In the hours that followed, Pakistan continued to communicate with Iran through diplomatic channels. A Pakistani official said that this timeline is based on an assessment of the relevant work.
