Just saw that Tegna appointed Dhanusha Sivajee as their new chief experience officer - pretty solid move for a company reaching like 100M people monthly. She's jumping straight into the leadership team reporting to CEO Mike Steib, which means they're serious about this role. Sivajee is basically taking over everything from the customer side: research, brand strategy, marketing lifecycle, and building out their digital products across linear TV and streaming. It's interesting how media companies are structuring these experience roles now. Dhanusha Sivajee coming in to handle the whole end-to-end journey for communities across their platforms - that's a lot of ground to cover. Makes sense they'd want someone focused on how people actually interact with their content these days rather than just pushing traditional broadcasting. Wondering if this signals bigger changes coming for Tegna's digital strategy.
