Golden Finance News reports, on April 6, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Ismail Baqayi said that, against the backdrop of recent proposals to end the war, Tehran has finalized its demands, but will only disclose them at an appropriate time, and emphasized that Iran will not give in to pressure. He said, “A few days ago, they put forward certain proposals through intermediaries, and this 15-point U.S. plan was conveyed through Pakistan and some other friendly countries.” He also added, “Such proposals are extremely ambitious, unusual, and illogical.” He emphasized that Iran has its own framework. “Based on our own interests, based on our considerations, we have organized and formulated a series of demands that we have put forward in the past and present.” He also denied that engaging with mediators implies weakness. “The fact that Iran quickly and bravely takes a position on a proposal should not be seen as a sign of surrender to the enemy.” (Jin Ten)
