ChainCatcher 消息，据 The Defiant 报道，Hyperliquid 因擅自更改代币符号引发争议。游戏项目 Pixelmon 今年初通过 Hyperliquid 的无需许可拍卖功能，以近 50 万美元购买了 MON 代币符号，但该符号现已被 Monad 的 MON 代币取代。在 Hyperliquid 前端界面，Pixelmon 的 MON 被改为 MONPRO，而 Monad 由领先代币化层 Unit 部署的代币成为默认 MON。虽然区块浏览器显示 Pixelmon 技术上仍持有 MON 符号（Monad 为 UMON），但 Hyperliquid Labs 覆盖了前端显示，引发对该交易所去中心化声明的质疑。加密游戏投资者 Grail.eth 批评称：Hyperliquid 实际上欺骗了所有代币符号拍卖买家，强行夺取 Pixelmon 的 MON 并交给 Monad。购买这些符号的全部价值主张就是购买的不可变性和前端界面。此前消息，Pixelmon 的 MON 自 2024 年 5 月推出后暴跌 98%，市值从 5300 万美元降至 600 万美元。
