OP_NET khởi động dự án DeFi Bitcoin mà không cần cầu nối hay wrapped BTC

OP_NET công bố ra mắt bộ công cụ DeFi “SlowFi” trực tiếp trên Bitcoin, cho phép giao dịch và swaps tài sản bằng các giao dịch tiêu chuẩn với BTC làm phí duy nhất, không cần cầu nối, tài sản wrapped hay token gas riêng. Dự án hướng tới đưa hoạt động trading và tạo lợi suất lên layer-1, chấp nhận tốc độ chậm và chi phí cao hơn để giữ toàn bộ trên mạng Bitcoin.

Đồng sáng lập Frederic Fosco cho biết các ứng dụng sử dụng Taproot, với phí giao dịch dao động khoảng 1–2 USD trong điều kiện bình thường và 10–20 USD khi mạng tắc nghẽn. OP_NET lập luận mô hình “SlowFi” với thời gian block khoảng 10 phút có thể tạo thanh khoản ổn định hơn và chu kỳ DeFi dài hơn.

Tuy nhiên, dự án vấp phải chỉ trích từ cộng đồng Bitcoin khi bị cho là mang “phình to DeFi kiểu Ethereum” lên layer-1, làm lệch mục tiêu tiền tệ và gây tắc nghẽn mạng.
