According to industry reports, BIO Protocol completed a $6.9 million seed funding round on September 17, 2025. This round saw participation from Maelstrom Capital, Mechanism Capital, Animoca Brands, Zee Prime Capital, Mirana Ventures, Foresight Ventures, Big Brain Holdings, and Panga Capital. With this latest financing, BIO Protocol’s cumulative funding has reached $17.86 million.BIO Protocol is a DeSci financial layer protocol focused on accelerating the flow of capital and talent into on-chain scientific research. Through its auction contracts, bioDAO can raise funds and allocate capital directly to research initiatives, intellectual property assets, and other biotechnology organizations. Since 2024, the project has experienced rapid growth and completed multiple funding rounds.
