According to industry reports, Fnality completed a $136 million Series C funding round on September 23, 2025. The round saw participation from Temasek, Citi, WisdomTree, Tradeweb Markets, Bank of America, and KBC Group, among other institutions. Following this transaction, Fnality’s total funding has reached $294.2 million.Fnality was initially launched as a project researching how distributed ledger technology (DLT) could transform financial markets. The initiative attracted interest from a consortium of financial institutions seeking to explore blockchain and DLT applications for settling securities transactions through tokenized cash assets. Known as the Utility Settlement Coin (USC) project, its primary objective is to establish a peer-to-peer digital cash asset to enable final settlement of tokenized transactions.Fnality’s funding trajectory reflects steady growth over recent years. The company raised $63.2 million in its Series A round in June 2019 and secured $95 million in Series B financing in November 2023 prior to the latest Series C round.
