Vaultik partners with WGI to on-chain $3 billion in luxury assets on-chain to the Hedera network
BlockBeats news, on January 15th, the HBAR Foundation announced that the luxury financial technology platform Vaultik has reached a cooperation with the World Gemological Institute (WGI) to put 30 billion dollars of BCD and jewelry assets on the Hedera network. This cooperation uses blockchain technology to generate tamper-proof Digital Certificates for each luxury item, recording the origin, rating, and ownership information of the assets, and ensuring Supply Chain security through laser engraving and NFC chips. Vaultik plans to extend this model to luxury handbags, watches, and other fields, promoting the digital transformation of the luxury goods industry.
