Germany will stop supplying military supplies to Israel for the Gaza attacks.
Jin10 reported on August 8 that Germany will stop supplying military equipment that can be used for operations in the Gaza Strip to Israel, a move made out of concern for the humanitarian suffering in the region. German Chancellor Merz stated that the shipment of tanks and other defense-related spare parts will continue to be prohibited until further notice. This decision represents an important step for Germany, which has been one of Israel's staunchest supporters. Merz reiterated that Israel has the right to defend itself, but he questioned whether further attacks on Gaza would help Israel achieve its goal of defeating Hamas.
