PANews 2月12日発表によると、米国証券取引委員会（SEC）のポール・アトキンス委員長はXプラットフォーム上で、今日議会で証言した際に2026年以降のSECの三大優先事項を述べました。それは、詐欺の取り締まりと投資者保護に焦点を当てること、情報開示規則の改革、デジタル資産に対する明確な規制枠組みの構築です。
アトキンス氏は、SECはターゲットを絞った執行と国境を越えた執行チームを通じて投資者の権益を守ると述べる一方、報告制度の現代化・合理化・簡素化の改革が必要であり、それにより投資者にとって実質的な意味を持ち、理解しやすくなると強調しました。デジタル資産分野では、暗号資産の規制枠組みを明確にすることは「遅すぎた」と認め、議会で関連立法を推進する中で、SECは商品先物取引委員会と協力して「Project Crypto」を通じて、投資者とイノベーターに対して規制義務を明確にすると述べました。
