ChainCatcher 消息，据 Cryptonews 报道，新西兰加密货币交易所 Cryptopia 在倒闭多年后，已开始向账户持有人返还数百万加密货币。在 2019 年的网络攻击中，Cryptopia 平台上价值数百万美元的代币被盗，随后 Cryptopia 申请清算。当时该平台被盗金额约为 1550 万美元。然而，在清算期间，该平台于 2021 年再次遭到黑客攻击。这一次一名前员工从与 Cryptopia 绑定的钱包中窃取了价值 170,000 美元的加密货币。该交易所已向 10,000 名已验证账户持有人偿还了 4 亿新西兰元（2.249 亿美元）的加密货币。根据清算人的公开咨询，比特币和狗狗币的账户持有人已经收到了他们的第一笔加密货币分配。 Cryptopia 清算人 Grant Thornton 指出：“在过去 48 小时内，超过 4 亿新西兰元的加密货币已在链上返还。”
