PANews 2月26日消息，据港媒香港01报道，香港虚拟货币交易平台AAX自2022年11月中起以系统维护及更新为由停止运作，逾300客户因未能取回近1亿港元资产。香港执法部门经追查，发现疑似透过虚假消息及不法手段致平台停运，负责人则携同虚拟货币钱包及私人密匙离开香港潜逃，随后返港被逮捕。香港警方今日表示，经深入调查向191名受害者损失合共约8100万港元，而该AAX负责人在平台停止运作后取出共约值6.33亿港元的虚拟货币，目前他已被控3项盗窃罪及1项欺诈罪。
