升级对节点运营者而言是“硬性要求”。所有未按期更新的节点，可能会失去与主网的连接资格。为避免系统负载集中爆发，官方建议节点分批次完成更新。这不仅有助于降低故障风险，也能保证网络在升级期间保持基本运行。
节点在 Pi Network 生态中承担着交易验证与共识维护的核心职责。与传统挖矿模式不同，Pi 采用基于 Stellar 共识协议的机制，通过可信节点组来确认交易顺序。网络内设有普通节点与超级节点，其中超级节点需全天候在线，负责关键共识任务，因此版本同步尤为重要。
