Foresight News 消息，Base 联合创始人 Jesse Pollak 发推表示，代币化的挑战在于不制造市场负面激励的前提下，为早期及新兴建设者提供曝光度。这种曝光对新建设者获取反馈、优化产品并实现突破至关重要，实现方式正变得日益复杂。但同时代币化也给早期项目带来了负面外部影响：PVP 价格竞争、匿名开发者风险、快节奏高压环境，影响创新。

Jesse Pollak 强调，「两种极端方案似乎都存在重大取舍：全面放任（市场退化为纯粹玩家博弈，恶意操纵价格者横行，扼杀创新空间）、完全不放大（新建设者难以崭露头角，创新停滞不前，新增长受限，难以突破现有局部最优解）。我尚未找到答案，但似乎解法在于中间地带。我们应当探索如何运用智能合约等新工具构建系统，以更好地应对这一挑战。」

此外，Jesse Pollak 针对 Clawnch 项目表示，「他们完全匿名，连我都不知道（他们是谁）。我之所以关注他们，是因为我觉得他们正在开发的东西很酷，但他们完全匿名的风险确实存在。」
