1月29日消息，Universal Digital Intl Limited 宣布推出首个获得阿联酋中央银行批准的美元稳定币 USDU。这一举措使该公司成为首家在阿联酋注册的外国支付代币发行机构，同时也是根据阿联酋支付代币服务监管条例 (PTSR) 注册的首个同类代币。
Universal 表示，USDU 的推出标志着阿联酋在受监管数字资产基础设施建设上的重要里程碑。作为美元计价的结算代币，USDU 可用于机构间的合规支付和数字资产结算，满足阿联酋规定要求数字资产和衍生品交易必须以法币或注册的外国支付代币结算的需求。Universal 高级执行官 Juha Viitala 强调，USDU 为数字价值设立了新的合规标准，为机构用户提供明确的法律框架与信心。
USDU 由阿联酋国民银行 (Emirates NBD)、Mbank 和 Mashreq 持有的美元储备以 1:1 支持。此外，Universal 已与受迪拜虚拟资产监管局 (VARA) 监管的 Aquanow 达成合作，借助其受监管服务提供商网络，推动 USDU 在更广泛的数字资产生态系统中应用。
