On January 3rd, according to data from The Block, the spot trading volume of centralized exchanges (CEX) in December 2025 dropped to the lowest point since September 2024, recording $1.13 trillion, a 32% decrease from November ($1.66 trillion) and a 49% decrease from October ($2.23 trillion). The total trading volume of decentralized exchanges (DEX) in December fell to $245 billion, down 20% from November ($306 billion) and down 46% from October ($451.2 billion).
