Khoảng 3,5 nghìn tỷ USD vốn hóa đã “bốc hơi” khỏi chỉ số S&P 500 kể từ khi chiến sự Iran bùng phát, phản ánh tâm lý lo ngại ngày càng gia tăng của nhà đầu tư trước rủi ro địa chính trị. Thị trường chứng khoán Mỹ chịu áp lực khi căng thẳng Trung Đông leo thang, làm dấy lên lo ngại về gián đoạn nguồn cung dầu, lạm phát tăng và tăng trưởng kinh tế chậm lại. Các chỉ số lớn như S&P 500 và Nasdaq đồng loạt giảm mạnh, trong đó Nasdaq đã rơi vào vùng điều chỉnh.

Giá năng lượng tăng vọt do lo ngại gián đoạn tại eo biển Hormuz tiếp tục gây áp lực lên thị trường. Giới phân tích cảnh báo biến động sẽ còn kéo dài khi thị trường phản ứng với các diễn biến mới của xung đột.
