Q1: Hi, Welcome to Gate.io AMA! Before we get started, can you please introduce yourself, your company and your role in Monoverse?

Dilys: Hello. I am Dilys from the Marketing Team of Monoverse. It’s such an honor to be here.
And I’m now working in the Marketing Team, responsible for creating content on social media channels and developing marketing strategies.

Monoverse is a blockchain game developer with offices in the US, South Korea, and the Philippines.
Our team has assembled a team of experienced experts who have previously worked in Korean major game developing companies such as NEXON, Netmarble, NCSoft. Our company is developing two related gaming projects- “Frutti Dino Stories” and “Frutti Dino”.

Q2: It’s such a pleasure to have you as our guest today! The name of your project “Frutti Dino” is quite interesting. Can you share the story behind your project?

Dilys: So from the name of our project “Frutti Dino”, can you guess what our in-game characters are?
Our characters are cute dinosaurs combined with different fruits.
For the Dino characters, there will be:

• 3 body types: carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores
• 10 classes of fruits: banana, durian, pineapple, etc.
  
  The states of a character are determined by their body type, fruit class and also the combination of the body parts.

Q3: Interesting! You mentioned your company is developing 2 gaming projects. Would you share more about that?

Dilys: The first gaming project is Frutti Dino Stories.
It is a Web2 mobile game featuring a novel “MAP” (Minting after Play) approach.
It is expected to launch at the end of this year.
And I bet you heard about “Tamagotchi”? Our mini-game is just like that!
In this game, you raise the baby Dino, feed it, and complete missions with it. The Dino character will grow up and develop its body parts. But the way you treat the character will affect its appearance and stats.
And when it fully grows into an adult Dino, you can acquire ownership of in-game characters you have raised by minting NFTs of your characters.

And you can transfer these NFTs into our main game, Frutti Dino.

Q4: Wow! A mobile game where you can mint your in-game characters! How fascinating! Then how about the main game?

Dilys: Our main game, Frutti Dino, is a 3D NFT game with the vision of “P&E” - “Play and Earn”.
It is expected to launch in Q1 2023.
Featuring PvE, and PvP gaming modes, users can use the NFT-based Dino characters to play and earn rewards.
Our game is “easy to play, hard to master”. You have to develop your own strategy according to the stats of your Dino characters in order to be a skilled player.
In Frutti Dino, 3 to 5 Dino characters are needed for the gameplay.
Here are some factors that will affect the gameplay:
1) Attacking speed: determining the turn orders. It is essential to decide the priority of the attacking orders
2) Strong-weak correlation of fruit classes: with the attribute advantage, the attacker can get an extra critical hit chance
3) Time system in battle: Dino’s ability will be optimized according to the in-game time and their time properties
To lower the barrier of the game, we are considering providing non-NFT Dino characters to newcomers. However, the earning rate will be lower compared to those players using Dino NFT. We will announce the latest game development in our communities. So stay tuned!

Q5: Can you tell us what Frutti Dino’s competitive edge is? What makes your project different from and better than the others?

Dilys:
1) Fun to play
Frutti Dino is more than just a game.
To master the game, you have to understand the Dino attributes and design a strategic combination to target weaknesses in another party’s defense.
2) Seamlessly designed Game-fi system
You can earn rewards by:

• Clearing a mission, winning a battle
• Partially upgrading your Dino through crafting
• Using in-built features: staking, governance (DAO)
  3) High-quality game art
  As you can see in our gameplay prototype,
  Our art team really worked hard on the great 3D graphic of our project in order to enhance the user experience.
  4) Good storytelling
