Dassault Systemes said that Chief Executive Pascal Daloz would replace co-founder Bernard Charles as executive chairman.
The French software company said on Saturday that Charles would leave his positions on the board and was stepping down as executive chairman for personal reasons.
Charles said he has confidence in CEO Daloz to fill the role, after working with him for 25 years. The co-founder will remain engaged with Dassault’s artificial intelligence offering, 3D UNIV+RSES.
Dassault said in June that it was planning to double earnings–excluding exceptional items–by 2029 through the scale up of its AI project, as well as capital allocation like M&A.
