[NVIDIA to Build Accelerated Quantum Computing Research Center] NVIDIA announced on March 18 that it is establishing a research center in Boston to provide cutting-edge technology to drive the development of quantum computing. The NVIDIA Accelerated Quantum Research Center (NVAQC) will integrate leading quantum hardware with AI supercomputers to achieve accelerated quantum supercomputing. NVAQC will help solve some of the most challenging problems in the field of quantum computing, ranging from Quantum Bit noise to transforming experimental quantum processors into practical devices. Leading innovative companies in the quantum computing field, such as Quantinuum, Quantum Machines, and QuEra Computing, will collaborate with NVAQC and engage in deep collaboration with researchers from top academic institutions like the Harvard Quantum Initiative (HQI) and the MIT Engineering Quantum Systems Group (EQuS) to jointly advance the development of quantum technology.
