According to a report by PRNewswire on March 21, Deep Tide TechFlow announced that Bitnomial has launched the XRP US Dollar Myra (XRUY) futures, which is the first XRP futures product regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in the United States. This product offers a physical delivery mechanism, ensuring that contracts are delivered in actual XRP at the time of settlement, as opposed to a cash settlement alternative.

At the same time, Bitnomial Exchange submitted a notice of voluntary withdrawal of the lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) yesterday. The lawsuit was filed in October 2024, with the core issue being whether Bitnomial's XRP futures qualify as security futures contracts. Bitnomial expressed welcome for the SEC's evolution in cryptocurrency policy, which provides a clearer definition of XRP's security status.
