Siemens collaborates with Minima to embed IoT blockchain technology into automotive, Bots, and energy sector devices

Shenchao TechFlow news, on March 18, according to CoinDesk, Europe's largest industrial technology company Siemens is collaborating with internet of things (IoT) Distributed Ledger builder Minima to embed blockchain technology into Siemens' devices in the automotive, Bots, and energy sectors.

According to a press release issued by both parties on Tuesday, Minima is collaborating with Siemens' Cre8Ventures division, which is part of Siemens' plan to accelerate industrial transformation by working with startups in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital twins, and cybersecurity. As computing power gradually moves to the network edge, the demand for embedding security and data integrity in these edge devices is increasing, which is where blockchain technology at the internet of things level comes into play.

Minima CEO Hugo Feiler said in an interview: "With the improvement of edge computing capabilities, even large enterprise customers need to ensure the resilience of their systems. Therefore, the ability for these large enterprises to operate decentralized systems is also crucial for them. Decentralization not only eliminates them as intermediaries, but also allows them to expand their service scope more deeply."
