Ark Invest adds OpenAI shares to its series funds
Golden Finance reports that on April 1, Cathie Wood added OpenAI to the ARKK, ARKF, and ARKW funds. It is said that each fund will hold about 3% of the shares, allowing retail investors to invest directly in one of the world’s hottest private companies.
Ark Invest previously officially announced that it held OpenAI in 2024 through its ARK Venture Fund (a non-public VC fund), and made multiple additional purchases (including the $250 million added in October 2024).
