Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 25 — According to The Daily Telegraph in the UK, Iran has refused to negotiate with U.S. Middle East envoy Wittekov and Trump’s son-in-law Kushner, accusing them of “betrayal.” Gulf sources say Iran will not sit down to talk with Wittekov and Kushner because Tehran was hit militarily just hours after their February meeting. Vice President Vance has largely remained silent during this conflict and is considered the leading candidate to restart negotiations in Islamabad, Pakistan, later this week. “Vance is the more preferred candidate,” a Gulf source said regarding Iran’s stance. “They don’t want to work with Kushner and Wittekov because they are untrustworthy.” The source added that Iran believes Vance will keep his promises, and his involvement is seen as appropriate for negotiations with Iran’s parliamentary speaker Kalibov. The vice president may serve as the new head of the U.S. negotiation team, indicating the White House’s intention to avoid further economic losses and ease tensions, although the strategy to end the war remains unclear.
