A CCTV reporter has learned that on February 26th, local time, the third round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the US has concluded.
Oman’s Foreign Minister Badral stated that after consultations with their respective governments, all parties will hold the next round of negotiations as soon as possible. Technical-level negotiations are scheduled to take place next week in Vienna. Badral posted on his social media that the Geneva talks “achieved significant progress” that day.
However, there were reports from the US side during the ongoing negotiations earlier, indicating that US Special Envoy Wittekov and Trump’s son-in-law Kushner were disappointed with the statements made by the Iranian delegation during the morning talks.
The third round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the US was held in Geneva, Switzerland, on the 26th. The negotiations were mediated by Oman, with the Omani diplomatic mission stationed in Geneva.
